Country Kansas Charmer

 Country Kansas Charmer

Bright and airy country home.
Fabulous vintage home has been designed with clean lines, open living areas and high ceilings, nestled among mature trees with plenty of surrounding pasture! Lots of natural light! Nature setting with getaway feel! Home fully embraces the outdoors.

Paved highway frontage. Bring your hammer and a bucket of nails because this lovely home needs a little TLC. Add your own modern day improvements while keeping the integrity of the original.

Very private location with prairie setting. No worries about pesky neighbors or HOA fees. Amenities are listening to the crickets on your welcoming front porch, cool country breezes from generously open windows, fitness opportunities such as mowing, trimming and fixing abound, and much much more.

  3. I tend to view these as social history. I expect these are as a result of the 1980's change in the pattern of agriculture in the USA. That time marked one of the greatest migrations ever seen in the US, and in every State. Farms just became uneconomic below a certain size. And it's also one of the reasons why there is a huge belt of hobby farms and golf courses on the outskirts of most cities.
Mind you, on a romantic level, it is very hard to call it tragic since those that lived there are no longer imprisoned in hopelessness.
